Some places look ordinary at first. A quiet road. A peaceful lake. A forest of tall trees. But every once in a while… you find a place that is anything but ordinary. Patriot Pointe is one of those places. Tucked beside Lake Eufaula, magic lives quietly here. It shimmers on the water at sunrise… and stirs beneath the stars at night.

Let us introduce ourselves
We are Steve and Debbie Linn, retired and living with our two lovable dogs in Patriot Pointe on Lake Eufaula in the hills of eastern Oklahoma. Inspired by the area's beauty, wildlife, and our dogs—Cooper, an energetic Aussiedoodle, and George, a cautious Sheepadoodle—Steve created The Magic of Patriot Pointe, a fun and original children's book series.
With Debbie as his sounding board, Steve has revived the joy of wholesome, old-fashioned-storytelling, hoping to inspire parents and grandparents to share the love of reading with their children. The Magic of Patriot Pointe books celebrate courage, kindness, doing what is right, respecting others, honoring our freedoms, and loving this great country. We invite you to join us on a funny and magical adventure!

In The Magic of Patriot Pointe, Volume 1: Slider's Rescue, readers meet our lovable heroes, Cooper and George, as they discover the magic of Patriot Pointe. Along the way, they learn the importance of kindness, courage, and standing up for what is right while helping their animal friends in a time of need.
In Volume 1, you'll meet a funny and memorable cast of animal characters whose friendship and loyalty make Patriot Pointe such a special place. Through their adventures, we hope to highlight the importance of family, community, kindness, courage, and doing what is right.
Our goal with this series is to encourage children to be strong, kind, and proud of their home and country while helping families rediscover the joy of reading wholesome, humorous stories together.
